Total Weight: Total Length × Weight per Foot × (1 + Waste Factor)
The formula calculates the number of bars that fit within the span after subtracting the edge cover on both sides. The result is rounded up to the nearest whole bar. The waste factor (default 10%) accounts for cutting, overlaps, and waste.
